Jenna Hide
Jenna Hide started dancing at the age of 6 and has been teaching and choreographing for the last 21 years. She is formally trained in hip hop, jazz, musical theatre, tap, ballet, modern, contemporary, and lyrical. A native of Washington DC, she moved to New York City at the age of 18 where she became a hip hop and jazz funk assistant/teacher at the prestigious Broadway Dance Center. Her passion for dancing is only paralleled to her love for choreographing.
Jenna choreographed and appeared as a guest choreographer for the Lifetime hit TV series Dance Moms as well as a dancer in the movie Step Up. She has choreographed for the Redskinettes and Wizards Dance Team, as well as, performed and choreographed for the Radio One Awards Show.
Jennaʼs portfolio includes traveling around the country as a background dancer for two-time Grammy Award winning recording artist MYÁ. She has also danced around the world and performed in over 10 different countries.
Jenna was selected by Debbie Allen to dance for The Kennedy Center’s Dance Theater of Harlem Ballet company and has also won National Scholarships from New York City Dance Alliance. While Jenna has won many awards over the years, nothing can take the place of her love for teaching!
