About Jenna
Jenna Hide is a passionate and dynamic force in the dance industry, with over 25 years of experience as a teacher and choreographer. Beginning her dance journey at the age of six, Jenna has trained extensively in Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Drama.
A native of Washington D.C., Jenna moved to New York City at 18 to pursue her professional career and quickly became a sought-after Hip Hop teacher at the world-renowned Broadway Dance Center. Her work is driven by an equal love for performance and choreography, both of which have led her to remarkable opportunities across the stage and screen.
Jenna's choreography has been featured on Lifetime's hit TV series Dance Moms, and she appeared as a dancer in the film Step Up. She has choreographed for professional sports teams such as the Washington Redskinettes and Wizards Dance Team, and performed and choreographed for the 2006 Radio One Awards Show.
Her performance credits include touring nationally as a background dancer for two-time Grammy Award-winning artist MYÁ, as well as international performances in South Africa, Greece, Bermuda, the Greek Islands, Beijing, and Jinzhou.
Jenna was personally selected by the legendary Debbie Allen to perform with the Dance Theatre of Harlem at The Kennedy Center.
Though she has received numerous accolades throughout her career, Jenna finds her greatest fulfillment in teaching and inspiring the next generation of dancers.
